How important is salvation by grace — grace alone?
God rescued us from His just wrath against our sins because He is by nature gracious! This quality permeates the being of God and causes Him to delight in doing good to those who deserve instead His wrath, His anger, His fury. It was that quality—and that quality alone—that prompted Him to rescue us. This is what the reformers meant when they said that salvation is Sola Gratia, or by grace alone!
Thus, the objective of Countryside Bible Church is to unpack the richness of this doctrine at the fourth in a series of five conferences on the five solas of the reformation.
This Sola Conference will be February 19-21, 2010 and the speakers will be Richard Phillips, Russell Moore, and John Hannah. It should be an excellent conference; it does not appear that registration has begun yet, but you can clear your calendar for those dates already so you will be able to attend.
