The audio from the messages of the Sola Gratia conference hosted by Countryside Bible Church last weekend is now available.
The three speakers for this event were Richard Phillips, Russell Moore, and John Hannah. I missed hearing John Hannah, who spoke only on Sunday, but was introduced to Phillips and Moore, hearing them both for the first time. I had appreciation for Phillips’ messages, particularly his message on Eph. 2:8-9 on Saturday morning, but was encouraged and helped particularly by Moore’s message, which will be one that I listen to several more times.
As a sermon, it was well-crafted — and well-articulated. It was a homiletical masterpiece. But it was also much more than that. Rarely have I been as personally moved and overwhelmed by a message as I was that one — it addressed the needs of my heart and challenged and exhorted me while at the same time giving me hope and joy in God. What a particular blessing that message was for me.
