While I came to GBC with no intention of leaving, I never thought 20 years would come so quickly and I would still be here!
What happy and satisfying years these have been for me, Raye Jeanne, and our daughters, Elizabeth and Emily.
The Lord has been gracious to mature us in our marriage and home and provide an encouraging and hopeful place of ministry for us. We have been loved, affirmed, cared-for and sustained in multiplied ways for many years at GBC.
It was a privilege to be asked to come and serve as pastor 20 years ago, and it is still a privilege to serve as pastor.
I love my “job.” But even more than that, I love the people of GBC and am thankful to be called to serve among them for the glory of Christ.
Yesterday, I did not come close to recognizing the ways in which I am thankful to God for these twenty years. So over the next couple of weeks, I will post “Reflections on Ministry.” You will be able to see the latest posts here.
