For a number of years, Bethlehem Baptist Church has encouraged the church body to memorize Scripture by publishing weekly “Fighter Verses.” They have also made those available for purchase and have now provided a website with many resources for memorizing Scripture.
Among the resources you will find on the website are: a five-year memory plan, an extended memory plan for memorizing longer passages and even books, a memory journal, an app for iPhones/iPads, audio resources, and a number of other aids to memorizing. (If you memorize in the ESV, Verse Card Maker will actually prepare files that you can easily print as memory cards.)
If you have struggled to memorize Scripture, this site offers resources, tips, and helps that will move you towards being more effective in memorizing, if you implement them.
