Last week, along with five other men from our church, I attended the Shepherds’ Conference. While the conference is designed for pastors, any man would find encouragement in his spiritual life and exhortation for his leadership responsibilities. And that was certainly true of the conference this year, which was a great time of instruction from the Scriptures and fellowship among our men, as well as men from other churches.
I generally take my laptop so I can take more extensive notes and have them more readily accessible for later use. And while the audio and video is not yet available on the Shepherds’ Conference website (they will be soon), here are my notes from the general sessions, as well as three workshops:
- John MacArthur (Wednesday)
- Phil Johnson
- Steve Lawson
- Ligon Duncan
- Nathan Busenitz
- Al Mohler
- Tom Pennington
- Paul Washer
- John MacArthur (Friday)
- Jesse Johnson (breakout on social justice)
- Ligon Duncan (breakout on the Reformation)
- Michael Riccardi (breakout on sanctification)
So glad you and the men from our church were able to attend. Looking forward to reading your notes and hearing what the conference had to say. God bless you.
