What is God the Father like? John 1:18 tells us that no one can see God and live. So we cannot know the fullness of God. It is impossible for us to know God.
Except Christ came for the express purpose of revealing the nature and character of God to us. So because of Christ we can know the unknowable. That is inherent in the Christmas message of Christ’s advent.
